  1. WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Our rates start at £1850 for Pure Packages (one photographer) and each package is completely based on your unique wedding.  The time of year, day of the week, length of coverage required, end product desired, amount of travel and many other things influence the rate so please contact us for more your personalised quote.  We offer Pure Millie & Belle Packages with just one of us or the more popular Millie & Belle Classic, with both of us shooting your day.

  1. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?

Although it’s really hard to categorise our shooting style we like to use words such as romantic, feminine, light, fine art and timeless to describe the images you will receive after your wedding day.  We love natural moments and capturing the atmosphere of your day without posing too however, so in this sense many of the photos you’ll receive could be described as documentary.  People are often confused by shooting styles so we recommend having a good look through our online galleries to get a real feel for our work.

  1. WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND HAVING TWO FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS?

There are so many reasons that we could write an essay on this!  Your wedding day will go by in the blink of an eye and having two photographers allows us to cover everything, from both bride and groom preparations to the normally unnoticed moments between guests.  One of us will shoot the bride walking down the aisle whilst the other focuses on capturing the groom seeing his bride for the first time.  Two of us can be everywhere and anywhere, both capturing beautiful images in the same style all the time smiling and taking everything in our stride.  Millie & Belle was actually born out of the frustration of trying to find reliable, quality 2nd shooters and knowing that the rapport between the two shooters can be the difference between a mediocre or incredible set of wedding photos.  We believe we’re a pretty darn good team and our energy, enthusiasm and big grins on the day are testament to the fact that we have complete and utter confidence in the other shooter and have an absolute blast working together.  As a bride or groom you can rest safe in the knowledge that all those precious moments are being caught by people who know their stuff and love what they do.

  1. DO YOU TAKE GROUP FORMAL SHOTS?

Yes, of course!  Although we like to limit these to immediate family only.  In you’re unsure, we can provide you with advice and an estimate as to how long your desired list will take to photograph and we always ask you to designate someone who knows both families to help round people up!

  1. WHERE ARE YOU BOTH BASED?

Helen is based in Chichester, West Sussex and Camilla lives in Bournemouth, Dorset.

  1. DO YOU SHOOT DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

YES, YES and YES!  We absolutely love destination weddings and the different landscapes and light these provide.  Having studied Modern Language at university and lived abroad for many years Helen speaks fluent French, very good Spanish and diminishing German, which can be an amazing help on your day.  We have shot weddings in Ibiza, Greece, The French Alps, New Zealand, Girona and Sardinia – please just ask if you would like to see any examples or for more information.

  1. ARE THERE EXTRA COSTS FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

We charge for travel & accommodation but not for our travel time getting to you.  We are happy with budget airlines and accommodation and recommend booking early to get the best deals .

  1. HOW LONG DO YOU SHOOT FOR ON THE DAY?

This depends on your requirements but we usually start about 2 hours prior to the ceremony and finish half an hour after the first dance.  This allows us to capture some of your incredible dance moves and lots of silly faces!

  1. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?

As a basic rule, our 2017 wedding packages include the following:

– A pre-wedding consultation (via Skype or phone if far afield)

– Venue Viewing with one or both of us to talk through your day, discuss photo locations and generally get excited!

– 2 full time, professional photographers to cover your wedding (Camilla & Helen)

– Your very own beautiful private and password protected Gallery to organise, view and share your wedding photos

– A USB key with all images from the day in high resolution with license to make your own prints

– Image processing and necessary digital retouching on all images

– A professional, seamless experience from start to finish

* Extras include gorgeous albums by Folio, an easy print ordering service through your gallery, additional hours coverage if required and a film (analogue) upgrade if this floats your creative boat!

  1. WHAT CAMERAS AND LENSES DO YOU USE?

We both carry 2 Canon 5Ds Mark IIIs.  We primarily use Canon L Series prime lenses, our faves being the Canon 50mm 1.2 and the 100mm macro.  For the reception time we also use the Canon 135mm to ensure we are as stealth like as possible and not too “in your face”!

  1. CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANY VIDEOGRAPHERS?

We sure can!  Please just ask for more details but part of our service is being on hand to offer you advice on all the best suppliers we have worked with.

  1. DO WE RECEIVE ALL THE PHOTOS IN HIGH RESOLUTION?

Yes, all photos are supplied on a USB in high resolution.  We individually retouch every photo to make sure they look their very best with pour trademark style.  Please ask us for advice on printing, canvasses and mounting to avoid disappointing results.

  1. DO YOU ALWAYS WORK TOGETHER?

People always comment on how well we work together as a team so yes, we like to!  We aim for 70% of the weddings we do to be together in order to give you the most comprehensive coverage of your day.  However, there are sometimes dates when this isn’t possible and only one of us will be available. In these circumstances we will let you know and provide you with rates to reflect this.

  1. CAN YOU OFFER PRE-WEDDING / ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS?

Yes and we thoroughly recommend booking a pre-wedding shoot to get to know us and feel more relaxed in front of the camera.  We will experiment with poses and locations to see what works prior to the day.  We normally try to do these at a location chosen by you and can give you advice on what clothing to wear.  Pre-wedding shoots are a lot of fun are priced at £250 (Millie or Belle) or £350 (Millie & Belle).

  1. CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?

We always try to meet you at least once before the wedding so we don’t have to “get to know” each other on your wedding day.  It’s important to feel as comfortable as possible around us so we encourage Skype calls and coffee dates (we love cake)!

  1. WERE KEEN!  HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

To book we just require a completed Booking Form and a 20% deposit to secure your date.  Without these your booking won’t be finalised and we will still accept other enquiries.  The balance payment is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

  1. HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING CAN WE VIEW OUR PHOTOS?

We understand how excited you’ll be to see your Wedding Photos so we aim for 3-4 weeks but in peak months we may have to extend this to 4-6.

  1. CAN I WAIT AND DECIDE WHETHER TO PURCHASE AN ALBUM AFTER MY WEDDING?

Yes.  For this reason none of our packages include an album unless requested.  We can design and make albums for you up to 2 years after your wedding.

  1. HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS CAN I PUT IN MY ALBUM?

Depending on the size and design you can normally choose between 70-100 images.

  1. DO YOU OFFER PRINTS, FRAMES, CANVASES & PARENT ALBUMS?

Yes we do, please contact us for more information.

  1. WHO DOES THE ALBUM DESIGN AND CAN WE MAKE AMENDS?

Both of us love designing albums and will work together to produce a beautiful, flowing album of your wedding day.  Once designed we send you an online proof and you are able to make any necessary amends until you are completely happy.

  1. DO YOU BLOG EVERY WEDDING YOU PHOTOGRAPH?

Due to the hecticness of the peak wedding season we aren’t able to blog every single wedding so we tend to only blog weddings at new or different venues or featuring suppliers we haven’t worked with before to diversify our posts.

  1. WE LOVE BLACK & WHITE PHOTOS, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Of course!  We shoot all our images in RAW and edit each photo individually in either colour or black and white so you will always have a mixture of both.

  1. DO WE NEED TO SUPPLY A MEAL FOR YOU ON THE WEDDING DAY?

Yes please!  We would love a 20 minute break during your wedding breakfast to sit down and re-energise!  If you are unable to provide us with a meal please let us know in advance so we can bring something ourselves.

  1. WE’RE BOTH REALLY SHY INFRONT OF THE CAMERA.  DO WE HAVE TO SPEND AGES POSING?

Not at all.  We completely understand that not everyone likes being in front of the camera so we will talk to you about this before the wedding day.  Equally we don’t want to keep you away from your guests and find that our natural, more reportage style of photography best captures the atmosphere and emotion of your wedding.  Whether you want to spend 5 minutes or 45 minutes with us getting the couple shots, we will always ensure it is as natural and fun as possible, allowing you to just be together rather than posing you unnaturally.

  1. ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes, we both have fully comprehensive insurance including public liability and professional indemnity.
